Fall is here!

So Fall was officially here on the 22nd, but it didn't actually show up here until yesterday. I was very excited, so on the 22nd I got some mini pumpkins, gords and pumpkin spice candels and made a centerpiece out of them. Then Adam brought me home a burgundy and orange mum, perfect colors for fall! We also made a crockpot dinner, another Fall must. Then on my way into work, last NIGHT :( I drove with my windows down, hot tea in the console and butt warmer on. It was like 58 degrees, windy and smelt wonderfully of fall.

The Annual Hot Air Ballon Races!

On Sunday Morning Adam and I woke up at 4:45 AM to see over 100 hot air balloons light up and fly away.

Jets flew over after the national anthem

There were so many balloons all around us in different phases of being set up that I couldn't stay still

I don't even know where they race to. The fun part is watching all of them set up and take off!

Camping in Burney Falls, CA

Fishing for "Croppies" in Lake Britton

A white Cave I found. No one else was interested in it so I went in it by myself with a latern and Gilbert (the .40 caliber glock)

This white stuff and the stuff in the cave is chalk. It just randomly sits in the middle of the forest! Very cool

It was like walking in flour

This is where we camped, next to the railroad bridge that is apparently in the movie "Stand by Me"

We went to a Demolition Derby near Burney, in the huge (sarcasm) city of McArthur, the shot gun start was literally a shot gun start. A friend of Marc and Megan's, the friends we were camping with, was competing in it. He did pretty well.

We had front row seats sitting on the cattle gate. Adam had never been to a demolition derby before, he loved it! We got sprayed with dirt many times, we were so close. And Adam got to go help fix up the car between heats.

Heres Burney Falls. I got to do some good running around it. The Pacific Crest trail joins in with some of the trails around the falls.

After Three days of not showering and sleeping on an air mattress (Adam's least favorite thing in the world), we were happy to be home

Jedd's "engagement" Party

My friend Jedd just got engaged so I wanted to throw him an engagment party (it started out as a joke but he actually ended up liking the idea). Well, he decided later that he didn't want an engagment party if his fiance who lives in South Dakota couldn't come, so we changed it to a themed party "Tight and Bright"

Sharads was the game of the night!

We looked totally sick! haha

I can't wait for Fall, my favorite time of year!!!!
