Marc and Megan's Wedding

This last weekend we went to our good friends-Marc and Megan's wedding outside of Carson City, in Dayton. While we were staying in Carson we went to an old west tour, where we saw all sorts of cool things like a world war two reinactment.

We also went and toured the beautiful capitol building

The wedding was beautiful of course, on a fancy golf course in the early evening

My friend Kaylee played the wedding march and the exit song, she was very nervous but did a great job!

This is the beautiful bride and all of us coworkers from the Roseview ICU

Adam and Cameron, the brides nephew, got into a battle, Adam lost.

And of course......DANCING!

Adam looked so handsome

And one last picture of "the crew".

Softball update: We are 9-1 and going to the playoffs in two weeks!!!!!

This is my latest project, a WSU quilt for our good friends Amy and Blake. They are getting married in July, so I still have lots of work to do. I think they will LOVE it!

(Excuse Acorn, anything I'm working on or doing becomes a huge concern to her)

An update on busy Adam Ant:

He has been working so hard lately and growing Great Basin like crazy. Safeco is going to sponosor a big booth for him to manage all week long at a big summer event in Reno called Hot August Nights. He has a BBQ planned at our apt's pool area and awhile ago had a booth set up at his school, University of Phenoix. He was also told by Safeco and Hartford that they are very impressed with all the business he has been doing lately. The Safeco territorial manager has become a good business acquantance and recommended a lot of business and agents to him. He has had many clients rant and rave about him, asking for business cards so they can recommend him to friends. He is so good at what he does and I am very proud of him! We put a lot of work into finding a logo and finally got one set up thanks to a family friend on the island. This is the new logo and Adam's new business cards.

When he's not working, he makes me fish sticks and broccoli.....heehee

Reno Tahoe Odyssey

Go team go!Me and a bunch of people I didn't know (except the Tony in the celtics jersey) did the Reno-Tahoe Odyssey, a 178 mile relay race in the Tahoe area.

Our theme was NBA allstars, hence the amazing outfits

I did make some new friends though who work in the ICU at the other hospital in Reno.

This is called like Indian something, it's illegal to pick...kinda cool

Truckee River

I swear this blog isn't all about me. I just can't get Adam to take pictures!

After a weekend apart, Adam and I slow danced in our bedroom to this song at the end of our playlist (Kenny Chesney-it's actually titled "me and you"). It made me so happy!

A giggly girls night

My good friend Melissa is getting married this month, so last weekend we threw a bachelorette party for her in Spokane. My theory on bachelorette parties is that they should be as fun, girly and immature as possible. So needless to say, we played lots of games involving what looks like male genitalia and I made Mel a head band as you can see in the picture below, that has two silver "things" on top, pink fur and a veil.

For appetizers we had little smokies to snack on with penis shaped pasta salad.

The first game's goal was to get the hotdog in the top of the gatorade bottle, heehee.

The next game involoved a butternut squash, nylons and an orange. The goal was to push your orange to the finish line first by thrusting your dangeling butternut squash! This game was halariously funny!
The winners got chocolate in the shape of, you guessed it!

After all these fun festivities, we went to sushi and went dancing-with Mel wearing the head piece!

Hey, when else is it ok to do these things....or is it ever!?!? hee hee
